It is with great honor that I announce my upcoming talk at the Los Angeles Grand Central Library on Salvadoran food history. Topic: “El Salvador’s Food, Pre-Hispanic to Today. Thank you Culinary Historians of Southern California for the invitation.
This opportunity resulted after talking to Nancy Zaslavsky, last April, at the IACP conference in Los Angeles. She is the Vice President and Program Chair of the Culinary Historians of Southern California. We originally met at an event at Melissa’s Produce in Vernon. I am so grateful to both organizations for helping me develop relationships and collaborations with amazing people and entities.
